Global streaming service Audiomack reports that its built in remix feature, Audiomod, has powered the creation of more than 260 million fan generated plays since its launch in February 2024.
The tool has been used by 30 million unique users, with usage increasing 23 percent over the past year.
Audiomod allows listeners to alter tracks directly within the streaming platform. Users can select from preset modes inspired by formats such as nightcore and adjust speed and pitch to create custom versions. Once generated, remixes can be shared with other Audiomack users.
The feature reflects a broader industry shift toward interactive listening experiences. Speed based edits, including sped up and slowed down versions, have emerged as particularly popular among users.
David Ponte, co founder and CMO of Audiomack, stated that the platform has moved beyond discussion of interactive features to deployment. “Some platforms like to talk about how they are building more interactive, lean in features, but we’re already doing it,” Ponte said. “We built something easy people could use, and hundreds of millions of fresh versions prove that they do.”

Audiomod’s growth aligns with Audiomack’s broader expansion. The global streaming service recently surpassed 50 million monthly active users after experiencing 31 percent year over year growth in 2025.
The company positioned Audiomod as a tool that allows fan participation while maintaining rights holder compensation. Audiomack’s vision centers on transforming music services from passive file servers into active environments for artist and fan engagement.
According to MIDiA Research data from 2025, nearly half of global consumers surveyed either currently engage in music creation or plan to do so. The same research indicates that almost one in four listeners aged 20 to 24 consume remixes of songs they like at least once per month.
Audiomack continues to expand the catalogue of tracks available for Audiomod as additional rightsholders authorize use of their repertoire for remixing. The company plans to launch Audiomack Pro for Artists in 2026.
